Realme X50 Pro
The Realme X50 Pro 5G is a smartphone from the Chinese company Realme, released in February 2020. Realme X50 Pro 5G comes with 5G networks on all spectrums from all over the world. The phone can be used in 5G enabled countries and experience high speeds. The smartphone has a 6.44-inch full-HD+ Super AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 90Hz, protected by a Corning Gorilla Glass 5 on top.

The X3 SuperZoom captures selfies at the full 32-megapixel resolution, instead of using pixel binning for a smaller file size. Details are good when shooting in daylight, although HDR can be hit-or-miss. The wide-angle camera is useful and I found HDR shots to be a bit more consistent with this sensor. Image details are generally weak in low light, but you can use Night mode for both selfie cameras, which helps getting slightly better photos.
Realme is bragging about the X3 SuperZoom’s ability to pump out the highest AnTuTu benchmark score for a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855+ powered device. While Realme might have gotten its claimed 5,17,743 score in its lab, I was only able to get around 5,08,491 points, which is still good. Of course, a benchmark score doesn’t always guarantee real-world performance, but I’m happy to report that the X3 SuperZoom feels speedy in use. I’m using the top-end variant, with 12GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 256GB of UFS 3.0 storage.
Apart from these solid core specifications, the other reason for the snappy feel is the 120Hz LCD display. Realme decided to go with an LCD panel with a faster refresh rate instead of a slower (90Hz) AMOLED panel, like on the X2 Pro. The 6.6-inch full-HD+ LCD panel is quite good, with strong colours. A recent update appears to have fixed an issue with brightness that I noticed when I first unboxed this phone. However, I would have preferred a slower AMOLED display, for more vibrant colours and better contrast at lower brightness levels.

Some of the features on the rear camera setup might include LED flash, auto flash, face detection, and touch to focus. Connectivity options on the Realme X7 Pro might include 4G (supports Indian bands), 3G, 2G, Wi-Fi 802.11, b/g/n, Mobile Hotspot, Bluetooth, GPS, Glonass, and 3.5 mm audio jack. Sensors on the mobile phone are likely to be a fingerprint sensor, light sensor, proximity sensor, accelerometer, compass, and gyroscope.
Realme 8 Pro
The Realme 8 Pro is expected to boast a 6.4 inch Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels and an incredibly high pixel density of 411ppi to bring forth rich and crisp visuals. The bezel-less display will supposedly sport an immersive Punch-hole design along with an aspect ratio of 20:9 for an enhanced viewing experience. Realme 7 Pro
The Realme 7 Pro features the same mirror-split design on its back as the Realme 7, but it’s a lot slimmer (8.7mm) and lighter (182g), even compared to the Realme 6 Pro. This makes it a lot more comfortable to hold and use. The frame and back panel are still made of plastic, but the quality is very good and the phone feels sturdy overall. The matte finish for the back means it doesn’t pick up fingerprints easily, and the Mirror Blue unit that I have looks good. The phone is also available in white.
The buttons are ergonomically placed around the phone, and at the bottom, you get the standard headphone jack, USB Type-C port and speaker. The first big feature to note is the display. It’s slightly smaller compared to the one on the 6 Pro at 6.4 inches, but it’s a Super AMOLED panel with a full-HD+ resolution. Realme also mentions the use of Corning Gorilla Glass, although it doesn’t specify the version. The display is bright, colours are rich, and thanks to this type of panel, the 7 Pro has an always-on display mode and an in-display fingerprint sensor. The latter worked well in my experience, and face recognition was equally quick.
